Handel’s music is eternal, optimistic, lively, and given fresh life in this invigorating and inspiring performance. What Christmas is complete without the joyous music of “For unto us a child is Born”, the Hallelujah Chorus, and the resounding final Amen? And no more fitting venue than the beautiful surrounds of St Peter’s Cathedral. Adelaide Baroque is very excited to be partnering with the St Peter’s Cathedral Consort for what will be a first performance of the ‘Messiah’ on historical instruments in Adelaide. The Concert is presented by the St Peter’s Cathedral Music Foundation.
